Last week was a bit crazy at work - training in a new guy. It's not a very good excuse, but I think it was probably a factor in the disappointing results of last week.
Monday, 4/28 - LAZY!
Tuesday, 4/29 - LAZY!
Wednesday, 4/30 - LAZY!
Thursday, 5/1 - LAZY! But I did start the #FFYoga Namaste in May challenge with Chair Pose.
Friday, 5/2 - LAZY! Except for Downdog.
Saturday, 5/3 - Race for the Cure 5k, which turned out to be 3.7 miles. :( I convinced Jeff to do this one with me, so we weren't doing it for speed - just trying to get through it. It was a great morning!
Also managed Day 3 of #FFYoga challenge - Child's Pose
Sunday, 5/4 - REST. But I WILL get in the yoga pose of the day. Happy Baby.
What's next? I still need to get in my final #5bythe5th 5k. I suppose I could count yesterday's race, but I want to try to run it fast, so I'm hoping to get it in tomorrow morning before work.
We'll probably need to spend most of our weeknights preparing for our weekend trip, so I'm keeping dinners super simple.
Sunday - Bean dip with tortilla chips
Monday - Baked pasta
Tuesday - Leftovers
Wednesday - Bean dip with tortilla chips
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - Dinner at Antonio’s Pizzeria & Cabaret
Saturday - Cousin's wedding at Catalina Casino
I'm linking up with Laura over at Mommy Run Fast and Jill at Fitness, Health, & Happiness. Go check out what everyone else is cooking up this week.

Hope you get another 5 by the 5th in! Have a great week, Clarinda!
ReplyDeleteI totally did! I wanted to sleep in, but told myself NO, you've got to RUN!
DeleteI love eating dips and appetizers as a dinner.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's just easier, especially since it's just the two of us.
DeleteI actually almost went to Zion NP last weekend, its been a while and I wanted to get some hiking in. But life got in the way and I wasn't able to go.
ReplyDeleteHow was the Zion Ragnar? I bet that's one beautiful course!
How funny?! Ragnar Zion is actually at Zion Ponderosa Ranch not in the national park, but yes, it's very pretty there.
DeleteDinners have been simple at our house too due to travel. Lucky you with some bonus mileage at the Komen race!
ReplyDeleteHope you've been traveling to fun and exciting places. :-)
DeleteI guess the bonus mileage was fun, but I'm sure glad I'd decided to run/walk it with my husband instead of shooting for a PR. ;-)
I definitely didn't like the extra long 5k at the time, but at least I got in a little extra mileage. It will be my first time scuba diving in the ocean. I'm excited, but also a little nervous.
