But, let's not kid ourselves. There's plenty that we'll likely not change in 2013, and that's just the topic of today's Monday Listicles.
10 THINGS I HAVE NO INTENTION OF CHANGING IN 2013
- Doting on my little girl, Sallie, and taking and sharing
too manylots of photos of her. - Watching General Hospital whenever I can.
- Wasting time on social media.
- Commuting by bike to work once the weather gets a bit warmer.
- Pushing myself to work harder and run faster.
- Waiting until the last moment to do laundry.
- Eating cold, leftover pizza.
- My last name.
- My address.
- My job.
So stinking cute! |

I'm so glad to find someone that feels a little tired of New Years Resolutions. I stopped making them about 5 years ago. But I like you idea about making a list about things I'm not going to change. For me I'm not going to change....Looking for the beauty in every day. No matter how miserable it seems.
ReplyDeleteLike frost on the trees in -4 below zero degree weather.

Gina, That's a great one! We should always try to find the beauty in every day. Makes us happier people, in my opinion.
DeleteThanks for the link to your post. Those frosty trees were really pretty.
I avoid laundry until the last minute too. Unfortunately the last minute comes a lot sooner than it used to with two kids under three.
ReplyDeleteI also wait until the car is sputtering to fill up the gas tank. I want to get the absolute max time out of a tank before I have to go to the gas station again, especially in the winter.
Confession: I don't think I've filled up the tank since we bought our van last May. I always wait for my husband to do it.
DeleteConfession: Last week, I bought new underwear rather than do laundry.
I could never give up cold leftover pizza, either. Or social media, come to think of it. Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for bike commuting! Best way to get around. :) I'll be doing as much of that as I can too. Also, cold leftover pizza is THE BEST. I forgot to add that to my list... :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten so lazy since mid-December. I really hope I can get back to it soon!
DeleteI love cold leftover pizza! And as I said, I have a weakness for social media :)
ReplyDeleteThey are both just so good. :)
DeleteAh love this idea! I won't change running no matter how hard it is right now. I also won't change the fact that I indulge in pizza usually once a week ;-)
ReplyDeleteYay! Sometimes I go on running hiatus, but it is a love that will never truly die. :)
Delete8,9 and 10. Those were brilliant. And I love the fact that you ride your bike to work. But I'm with you in riding in the cold. I have a 70 degree rule. Don't ride my rode bike for exercise unless it's at least 70.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Those last three totally came from my husband. ;) I'm kind of waiting for 50s to ride my ride. Hopefully sooner than later...
DeleteI love this!
ReplyDeletehahah! Thanks. :D
DeleteI could never ever ever give up cold leftover pizza either. it's my favorite breakfast food.
ReplyDeleteI may or may not have been eating pizza for breakfast when I wrote this post.
DeleteOh, Sallie is adorable! I'd spoil her too
ReplyDeleteand thanks...you've reminded me I put clothes in the wash Hours Ago!
Thanks!
DeleteWhy is laundry so easy to forget??
I wish I lived in a better place for biking. I would love to bike to work. Erin
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty lucky to only live 5 miles from work.
DeleteHa! Love the last three! As long as you don't eat cold pizza on race days ;)
ReplyDeleteThose were my husband's contribution. ;-) And I can't make any promises on the cold pizza. ;-)
DeleteWasting time on social media! I think many of us can relate to that :)
ReplyDeleteYep! :-)
