Workout Recap + Mar 1 Meal Plan

In case you missed my crazy experience yesterday, check this out!

Jeff and I walked to Redbox yesterday afternoon to rent a couple movies. When we were almost there, we heard a screech of tires and then a loud crash! I looked around and couldn't comprehend what happened at first. And then I saw the downed street light.

It was pretty windy, but not that windy. Unbelievable! And pretty perfect timing, considering how busy the street was, that no one was hurt and no cars were damaged.

Of course, we didn't have our phones with us, so once we got back to our apartment, I grabbed my phone and we took off back down the street to snap a picture. :-D

By time we got back to the scene, the Fire Department had arrived to help keep pedestrians away and to control traffic.

So, that was our exciting Saturday afternoon.

Workout Recap

In case you missed my post on Tuesday, I've been in kind of a funk this past week, which resulted in pretty much taking the entire week off of working out.

Let's call it a RESET week. :-)

I think the only activity I even attempted last week was biking to work on Thursday. It wiped me out so much, that I called Jeff to come and pick me up after work.

Ugh! Here's to a new month and climbing out of this funk!!

Happy Friday!!

Who is ready for the weekend?! I know I am. :) The secret surprise that I mentioned during the Ultimate Coffee Date is happening this weekend, and I am STOKED! It's likely not going to be nearly as exciting for all of you, but be sure to stay tuned to Instagram and Twitter for all the excitement. :)

In other news, I ran fast yesterday morning, and it felt amazing!

Jeff and I headed out for a 3 mile run, and about .8 miles in Jeff was hurting pretty bad, so we altered our route to shorten our run. We ended up doing about 1.6 miles, and then I continued for another .9 miles. And I kicked it into high gear. I haven't run like that in quite some time. I'd love to say it was a breeze. It wasn't, but it was exhilarating. Or breath taking. LOL. Cuz I was definitely out of breath by the time I was back home. :D

One last thing before I leave you to enjoy the weekend. My birthday is fast approaching. 7 more weeks. Or something like that. ;) Perhaps you remember my virtual race to celebrate my 36th birthday? The Factors of 36 virtual race?? It was so much fun!

That I wanted to do another little something to celebrate this year. Make it a tradition, you know.

BUT doing a Factors of 37 wouldn't be nearly as much fun since your only options would be run 1 mile or run 37. Ugh.

So, let's go streaking instead!!

Let's Go Streaking! | enjoyingthecourse.com

Your choices are 37 days of running (at least one mile) or 37 days of yoga. Or some combination of the two.

Either way the streaks will begin on July 5th and continue until my birthday on Aug 10th.

ARE YOU IN??

Joining the fun is super easy! Just run or do yoga every day from 7/5 to 8/10 and tweet or instagram a photo using #ETCRunStreak or #ETCYogaStreak or #ETCStreaks.

Easy-peasy.

I'm still working on lining up some sponsors and fun prizes, so stay tuned for that, but I just wanted get it out there for those who might want some advance notice. :)

Now, go out there and enjoy the beautiful weekend. Unless you're still at work. Then, you know, it's *almost* the weekend, so SMILE!!

What are your weekend plans?
Will you celebrate my birthday with me?

Ready for the Weekend!

Happy Friday!! Even though it was a short week with Monday being a holiday, I'm more than ready for the WEEKEND!

Ready for the Weekend!

We ordered Bountiful Baskets to pick up this weekend. Yay for fresh produce! I usually drive to pick it up, but we're hoping to hop on our bikes tomorrow morning. We biked to pick up our basket the very first week we participated, and NEVER AGAIN! Oops! That was more than a year ago. Wow!

Speaking of biking, we really need to get back in the saddle. :) We're still hoping to get in our first triathlon this year. Even though, we'll be doing a sprint distance, and we certainly won't be racing, we still need to get used to being back on the bike. We still haven't decided on a specific triathlon. We were thinking about doing the Solana Beach Triathlon in July, but we've decided against that one. I'm still feeling a bit of twinging pain in my butt, and I'm not sure if I'll be ready for that kind of race in just two months. Plus, I'm a bit nervous about doing a tri in the ocean - without living near enough one to practice. :)

In the meantime, I just need to get on my bike MORE! I think I've only biked to work ONCE in the past SEVERAL months. Yikes! I used to be so good about it. Now, I always seem to have one excuse or another or I simply didn't prepare the night before.

In addition to biking to Bountiful Baskets tomorrow, We're also hoping to join a few friends for a trail run/hike Sunday morning! Yay for active weekends. :) I hope I feel good enough after tomorrow's bike ride to head up to Mt Charleston on Sunday. I just want this pain to go away! I know I need to do a little more research on some good stretches and strengthening moves to heal properly. And give it some time.

Now, I've got to get a move on, but here's a random conversation I had with a co-worker earlier this week.

HIM: So, how many marathons did you run this weekend?
ME (being a smart-ass): None.
HIM (looking perplexed): Oh, you took the weekend off?
ME (laughing a little): Not really. I just didn't run any marathons. I only ran a half Saturday morning and a 5k Saturday night.
HIM (looking impressed): Wow. I don't know how you do it.

I love conversations like that! One of the best parts of being a runner is the bragging rights! lol.

What are your weekend plans? Anyone racing?
Do you run for the bragging rights? Or is that just me?

Race Day - Chatty Cathy

Tomorrow is another race day! 2014 is really turning out to be the year of the races for me, and I'm having a blast!

Tomorrow is ...

I'll be starting my Saturday morning bright and early with a half marathon and then finishing the evening with a 5k for the DIRTY DOUBLE.

As with any race, particularly a trail race, my #1 goal is always to just get out there and have fun. ENJOY THE COURSE. :) This definitely won't be a PR course, but it will definitely be a beautiful course.

Part of the fun of running a race is interacting with other runners out on the course.

I'm kind of a solo runner during training, so I can be a little chatty during a race - especially a longer race like a half marathon.

Monday Listicles - Random 10

This week we're free-styling it for Monday Listicles.

10 RANDOM THOUGHTS

1. I don't understand people who do not like chocolate. I have a huge sweet tooth and chocolate is right at the top of the list. Pretty much any kind of chocolate is YUM!

2. Just because my car is small doesn't mean it's not safe. Yesterday, at Walmart some stopped and asked how I like my car. I said I loved it. She seemed surprised and asked if I wasn't scared driving it. Um. No. It's got like 11 air bags. I think I'm good.

Scion IQ

3. We got Bountiful Baskets this weekend! I'm so excited to have so many fruits/veggies in the house again. It's been WAY too long.

4. We got some big baking potatoes in the Bountiful Basket. I've been craving baked potatoes for awhile now, so I was pretty excited to see them in the basket Saturday morning.

5. We had this deliciousness for dinner Saturday night.
slow cooker chicken taco chili
I served it over rice last night, but one of the leftover nights this week it will be used as a potato topping. Yummy!

6. I haven't ridden my bike in months. :( So sad. I really need to start again, but I've gotten out of the habit and it's been so cold. Maybe I'll get in a commute or two this week.

7. I went out for drinks Friday night at the new Downtown Container Park Project to celebrate a co-workers birthday. It was really fun! I didn't get a great picture, but all the shops/restaurants are shipping containers! It's really neat. There's also a playground in the center for the kids and a stage at one end for bands. And I can't forget to mention the huge preying mantis.

8. Jeff and I need to do some brainstorming for our 2014 goals. The key to success is planning, right? Hopefully, if we brainstorm some ideas, we won't get to the end of the year disappointed.

9. I've been absolutely terrible about drinking water the past several weeks. I think it's really catching up with me now. Even my skin has gotten thirsty! I definitely need to start making water a priority again.

10. It's going to be a busy week! The way I've planned my workouts this month, I've got arms/abs + a run on MWF this week. That's not going to leave me much time in the mornings, so I'll have to be productive in the evenings. :)

Happy Monday! What randomness is going on with you?

Three Things Thursday - 12/5

Super quick post this morning! Here are 3 things on my mind.

1) Did you notice my new blog design? I worked on it most of last weekend, and finally was able to get it all installed this morning. Which took me a bit longer than I'd anticipated. And the reason why this post has to be super quick. I still need to get ready for work!! Argh. BUT... what do you think? Jeff says it's a bit holiday-esque, but I like it. I'd love your feedback. :)

2) I'm having lunch with my boss this afternoon to discuss possibly changing my role at work. I'm so nervous about the possibility of change, BUT I don't want to hold myself back out of fear either.

3) Katie flies in today!! I'm incredibly excited to finally meet her in person. We're going to check out the Strip tonight and tomorrow we head to Mesquite for Saturday's marathon. You didn't really expect me not to mention the marathon, did you? Safe travels, Katie!! See you soon.

There's a 4th thing on my mind today, too. I posted about it last night, but in case you missed it, go check it out. Hint: It's fricken cold outside!!

What's going on with you today?

Old School Blogging

I saw this over at Running with Perseverance and thought it sounded like fun. The actual hosts are Elaine from Miss Elaineous Life and Brittany from That's Vandy.

Where is your cell phone? Plugged in and juicing up for the day. Or through lunch.

Your significant other? Jeff. Happily married for nearly 9 years. Hard to believe it's been that long!

Your hair? Short and sassy.

Your mother? Never forgotten, though she passed nearly 19 years ago.

Your father? Far away, but we had a great time when he was out to visit back in October. We actually don't talk a lot, but I know he's always there for me when I need him the most.

Your favorite thing? My bed. Or my phone. Or my phone in my bed. LOL.

Your dream last night? Um. I had a dream where I was at a party or somewhere. I drank a LOT. When I woke up, I felt a little sick. Is it possible to get a hangover from a dream?

Your favorite drink? Right now I'd say a hot Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks. It's a rare treat, but so yummy!

Your dream/goal? Short-term? To successfully finish my marathon in less than two weeks. Didn't think I could write a post without mentioning it, did you?

someecards.com - I promise to stop blogging about my marathon after my marathon.
LOL. No guarantees.

The room you are in? The spare bedroom where my laptop resides.

Your fear? Being all alone. Losing my husband.

Where do you want to be in six years? With Jeff. Nothing else matters.

Where were you last night? At home. Re-watching The Big Bang Theory and eating leftover pizza.

What are you not? Crazy. My mother had me tested. LOL. All teasing aside, I'm going to copy Coco on this and say I'm not ambitious. I really love what I do and love my life, and I'm not overly eager to change it.

Muffins? I'll eat anything that's free. :) My all-time favorite is blueberry, though.

One of your wish list items? Right now, I'd really love a Roll Recovery for my calf. :)

Where you grew up? Alexandria, MN.

The last thing you did? Talked to Jeff about health insurance and helped log into the NV health exchange.

What are you wearing? Um. I haven't gotten dressed yet. I'm wrapped in a blanket.

Your TV? I'm watching GH right now. We don't watch regular TV - only Hulu and sometimes Netflix. Most of our TV watching is a marathon of one show or another.

Your pets? Sallie!! The cutest thing EVER. We only adopted her 5 years ago, but it seems like she's always been a part of my married life.

Wiped out after our run yesterday

Your computer? An HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. It was a top-of-the-line laptop when we bought it a few years ago. It's dying now, but I'm hoping it sticks around for a long time.

Your life? Just about perfect. I love my husband. I love my job. I love my co-workers. I love that I'm able to run as much as I do. And blog as much as I do.

Your mood? Happy and satisfied.

Missing someone? Since it's Thanksgiving, I'm kind of missing my MN family.

Your Car? Genie, a scion iQ.

Something you are not wearing? Earrings. But then again, it's pretty rare that I do wear them.

Favorite store? Walmart. I'm not ashamed. You can get just about anything there.

Your summer? HOT! But it's a dry heat. LOL. I love summertime.

Like someone? I like most people. Unless you're really annoying. #sorrybutnotsorry

Your favorite color? Yellow or orange. Or bright, bold, fall colors.

Last time you laughed? Last night watching The Big Bang Theory.

Last time you cried? Watching a trailer for The Butler. You could say I get emotional watching TV and Movies (or even just previews).

What is one thing on your To-Do list? Fold the laundry that has been waiting to get folded for more than a week. I'm a little scared at how wrinkled everything will be. Oh, and I should probably do some more laundry soon, too.

Your turn! Pick a question or two to answer in the comments or link up a post with your Old School Blogging answers with Elaine and Brittany and tweet them at @elainea and @BrittanyVandy using #OSBlog!

♫ Cutest Little Pup ♫

Ok. Back to Blogember. Writing prompts come from A Happy Girl. She has a prompt everyday, but I've gone on my own a few days already, but I'm back on track today.

November 12: Your first pet

I've posted about my first dog before, but she was awesome enough that maybe she deserves her own post.

I don't remember how she came into our lives, but when I was a teenager, we got Mitzy. She was a pomeranian/poodle/chihuahua mix. We think.

And she was super cute! I wish I had more pictures of her, but this was long before the days of Instagram.

So cute that I even made up a song about her cuteness.
♫ Cutest little pup in the whole wide world. Cuter than anything. She may be full grown. She may even stink, but she's still the cutest little pup in the whole wide world. ♫
I would lie and snuggle with her and serenade her with this goofy song.

She was a great snuggler - just like my Sallie-girl today. I loved when she would snuggle up by my legs when I'd sleep at night.

We had lots of other dogs and pets, but Mitzy was always my favorite and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Tell me about your first pet.

A Day in the Life of Clarinda

November 7: A day in your life

These posts are kind of fun! I wrote one just over a year ago, but my life has changed A LOT since then.

My work days now look a little like this.

5:00 Alarm goes off.
Check my phone for any important updates.
Get out of bed and feed Sallie.
Dress for a run/workout (unless it's a REST day).
Run or workout for an hour or so. (blog, catch up on Social Media, watch TV if it's a rest day)
Eat breakfast.
7:30 jump in the shower. (7:00, if I'm planning on biking to work.)
8:00 head to work. (7:30ish, if I'm biking.)
8:30 clock into work.
Enter orders, run reports, put out fires, etc.
1:00ish Eat lunch
30 minutes later... Back to work.
5:00 punch out and head home.
Make dinner and watch TV with Jeff.
9:00 head to bed.
Make sure my alarm is still set for the morning. Catch up on social media.
SLEEP!!

My weekends are a little more flexible. I usually try to go for a long run on Saturdays, so I can rest and relax on Sundays.

Is your day similar or very different from mine?

Two on Tuesday 10/8

Just a little randomness...

1) ♫ The other night I had the strangest dream.
I sailed away to China.
In a little rowboat to find ya.
You said you had to get the laundry clean. ♫

Props if you know the song.

But seriously, the other night, I did have a strange dream. I was spectating at a triathlon. I was SO tempted to do it (and a little sad I wasn't). I've never wanted to do a triathlon, but I awoke thinking maybe it was a sign.

Jeff is not a runner, but I could probably convince him to train for a tri with me.

Something to think about for 2014. First I've got to get through marathon training. :-)

2) Let it be known that I am ALWAYS cold at work. This has been my plight since my very first post-HS job.

Normally, I don't say anything. I just am sure to always have a sweater handy. Unfortunately, my current desk is practically right under a vent.

Again, no complaints from me.

Until this morning.

Other people had been complaining yesterday, and when I walked in this morning, I could hear the vent blowing much louder than before. I went to find a maintenance man to see if anything could be done, and maybe why the fan kicked on today.

A guy came by and fiddled with a dial. Then we had this conversation.

Him: Do you feel like it's bouncing off the wall and hitting you or does it feel like it's coming directly from the vent.

Me: Directly from the vent.

Him: Well I could close the vent cover. Do you have a long stick?

Me, thinking/laughing inside:  Sure. Let me just pull one out of my desk drawer.

He then proceeded to try and pick up the metal coat track.

Him: Oh that's too heavy.

Me, thinking/shaking my head: You think.

On a positive note, he did eventually find something to shut the cover, and someone else did something to slow the fan.

Yay!

What randomness are you enjoying today?

Five for Friday!

I, for one, am super happy about it being Friday! Having Monday off, this week actually went by pretty quickly, but I'm still loving that it's almost the weekend.

Here's a few things on my mind today.

1. No big plans for the weekend! We may go car shopping, but mostly just relaxing and getting caught up on stuff.

2. My Factors of 36 virtual race has been going on for a week now. I'm loving this race and hearing all your stories about how it's helped motivate YOU.

Like Matt who pushed himself to run an extra 0.6 miles, so he could log 18 miles for the day instead of 12.

Or Tyly who didn't want to get off the couch.

And then there's my sister-in-law, Trudy, who is using the race to get back on the wagon.

You're all helping to motivate me as well.

Thank you, thank you, to everyone who is participating.

If you haven't joined the fun, there's still 10 more days to run! You can still join us, just fill out this form or shoot me an email at enjoyingthecourse@gmail.com.

3. Speaking of virtual races, when mine's finished, why not sign up for Laura's Fall 5 or 10 Virtual Series. It will be similar to the one she hosted from Jan-June, but instead of  5k or 5miles before the 5th, it will be 5 or 10 miles. Perfect for anyone training for a fall/winter marathon.

4. Did you know that I recently became a Diet-to-Go Ambassador? You might recall I did a review of their meals back in February. I was so impressed with everything I tried - from the quality to the quantity - that I was very excited when they reached out to me to be an Ambassador.

Last night I participated in a very fun Twitter chat about getting back to healthy habits now that school is starting up again. The new school year doesn't really affect me, but it's always good to refresh my healthy habits. :)

Diet-to-Go is also currently hosting an I Live Healthy photo contest.

The contest started a couple days ago, but you can enter your photo through 8/29. Voting goes through 8/31 and winners will get a week of free meals. Yummy!!

You can enter, vote, and get all the details here: http://woobox.com/ciqtzc

5. I've shared 227 happy moments on my A Happy Moment A Day blog. I think that's pretty much a record for me for doing anything.

What's going on with you today?
Any fun plans for the weekend?

Random Conversations with my Husband that You Don't Care About

Two random conversations from last night.

Him: Why are you still biking to work?
Me: Because it's healthier and saves gas money.
Him: But it's dark outside.
Me: Only at night.
Him: But you do bike home at night.

(yes, I did bike in today.)

Me: How many times a day do you pee?
Him: I don't know. Probably twice.
Me: Damn. Sometimes I have to pee twice an hour.
Me: You need to drink more water.

(maybe I need to drink less water...)

What randomly odd conversations have you had lately?

Looking back...

Today's challenge from the SITS Girls is to share something we posted on Sept 28 in a previous year. I looked through my archives and couldn't find anything on 9/28 since 2006.

So, here are a few links to some previous posts from the last week of September.

Questions

I found this list of questions on Simple Girl, Simple Pleasures. I thought they were really fun, and I'm trying to post more regularly, two posts in two days! Woot woot!! so here goes...

would you rather be able to dance, sing or draw?
Definitely dance. I've always dreamed of being graceful and elegant. Plus extra fun ways to exercise. :)

on pinterest, would you rather have the clothes you pinned appear in your closet, the decor you pinned show up in your house (and you can change it as you please) or have the recipes you pinned show up on your kitchen table?
I guess I'd have to go with the recipes - seeing as I have no closet and my house will soon be a van. I don't have a kitchen table either, but just having delicious food show up would be fantastic. A girl's gotta eat, y'know.

for the next five years, which five countries would you like to live in, changing every year (you would still work and have a life. this is not a vacation. feel free to state a city too)
In no particular order, United Arab Emirates, Belize, Denmark, Australia, China

for the next five years, which five states would you like to live in, changing every year (you would still work and have a life. this is not a vacation. feel free to state a city too)?
Again, no particular order, California, South Carolina, Maine, Kentucky, Colorado

in what event would you most like to win an Olympic gold medal?
I've not thought about this. Can't say I'm much of an Olympic-y gal.

which disney princess do you want to be?
My husband would likely say Ariel, if he had a vote, because well, she lives Under the Sea, which is where he'd like to be. all. the. time. As for me? Maybe Jasmine from Aladdin. Not sure why.

if you were hosting SNL, who would you want to be the musical guest?
I'd love for the Squirrel Nut Zippers, of course.

if you could take one class at Hogwarts, what would it be?
Don't judge, but I'm not really very familiar with Hogwarts. I do think that maybe a flying broom class would be useful, though.

would you rather have the power to see the future or fix the past?
If I have to choose, I'd rather see the future. I have no regrets of the past.

what is your favorite pop tart flavor (i'm running out of creative juices for questions and well you know, i'm a fan)?
I think I'll go with s'mores. I think that's the flavor I buy most often anyway. That, or blueberry.

Where did April Go?

This past month of student teaching has really been time consuming - not to mention STRESSFUL!! I'm down to 8 days left, and I am certainly ready to be finished. :-)

I've got some very exciting news to share in the next few days, plus I really hope to get back on the blogging bandwagon soon!

In the meantime, it's supposed to be gorgeous here today. Maybe I'll even have a chance to go for a run this afternoon after school. Yay!

Wish I were spending the day somewhere like this.

Have a super Wednesday, everyone!

Saturday evening randomness

This afternoon, I went for a bike ride.

Check out that elevation profile! Naturally, the worst of the hills came at the end along with an ever-so-lovely headwind. Yikes! Next time, perhaps, I'll do the reverse for maybe a slightly easier ride.

Other than the last few miles with the headwind, this was all on city streets - not separate bike paths.

Does anyone else feel weird about just going out for a bike ride on city streets without any particular destination or purpose? Whenever I start to go fast, I think, Why? I'm in no hurry. I still try to push myself. But, I'm not gonna lie. It just feels weird.
As I pulled up to a red light, I could see the State Capitol in the distance.
In other randomness, when you visit a blog, do you check out the sidebar? I generally try to, but I'm not always the best at it. That said, I tend to expect that visitors to my blog are checking out my sidebars. Sometimes, I add something to the sidebar without ever mentioning it in a post. Now, I wonder if maybe I shouldn't do that.

So, just in case you missed them...

I've decided to join a couple different challenges for April.

First up, I'll be joining Run to the Finish for: 30 Days of Fun

I'm super excited for this challenge! Who doesn't need a little more fun in their life? I want to laugh more and try some new things. We'll be moving soon, so I've got to do this challenge on the ultra-cheap free side of fun.

Amanda also posted a calendar with some ideas. Click on the picture above or in the sidebar to see her calendar and get more info about the challenge.

A few ideas I might try yeah I stole a few from Amanda's calendar:
  • run like Phoebe
  • sing in the shower
  • solo dance party in the living room
  • bike to a friend's for a puppy play date
  • Pinterest funny photos
  • YouTube funny videos
  • experiment with different laughs
  • organize a game night
  • read funny greeting cards
  • do a cartwheel
  • do something with a friend(s)
  • stop to take more pictures when out running or cycling
If you have any other fun free ideas of things to do, let me know.

I doubt I'll post my fun every day in a blog post, but I'll try to at least share what I do on Facebook and Twitter.

The other challenge I'll be doing in April is: Amazing Arms 'n Abs April

I found this challenge via Ali Mc at Running with Spatulas, but she found it on Domestic Diva in Training's blog. I think I'll follow over at Domestic Diva primarily because there are a few exercises on this calendar that I am not familiar with at least by name.

Hopefully this challenge will motivate me enough to actually do some core work. At this point anything will be better than what I have been doing. I think a lot of my problem is knowing what to do, so this should help to solve that.

How will you be challenging yourself in April? I'll be doing the both two challenges Feel free to join me. plus continuing with my marathon training.

Do you check out a blog's sidebar? I'm not always the best at this, but I do try to check them out at least occasionally.

Ever feel weird about bike riding with no particular purpose other than exercise? Obviously, I do.

Crazy Eyes!

I don't actually have crazy eyes.

crazy eyes from Crono on Vimeo.

At least I don't think so. Jeff's never mentioned anything...and he's stayed married to me for over 7 years.

But really, I get all kinds of crazy when I consider my eyes.

Need a new driver's license? I always get totally freaked out about having to take the eye test. Seriously. My heart begins to race, and my palms get all sweaty.

Is it even possible to fail an eye exam?

Going to the eye doctor is even more stressful for me than going to the dentist or any doctor for that matter.

Yeah, I totally need a mantra for going to the eye doctor.
Stay calm.
Don't squint.
Relax.
You can't fail.
You've totally got this.

Of all the doctors out there, the eye doctor should probably be the least scary.
Not for this crazy chica.

Do you get freaked out about going to the eye doctor? Any other weird phobias?

That's one cute kid!

I crawled into bed and suddenly realized that I hadn't posted anything today! I wish I could say it was because was I SO productive, but, well, I just can't.

Since I need to be sleeping right now, I thought I'd just share my current favorite commercial.

Isn't he just about the cutest kid? Ever?

My favorite line - "No, a small cat." The way he says it just melts my heart.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Why is it...

When I forget to bring my water bottle to work, I seem to have to go to the bathroom more often than if I am sipping on water throughout the day?

Hydration is important, and I'm terrible about drinking water, so REMEMBER your water bottles!

On another note, I am so exhausted (probably due to lack of water) and therefore SO happy it is finally Friday.

Any fun weekend plans? Not really. I'll be planning my unit on Latin America and hopefully getting things situated in order to do my TPA (teacher performance assessment) before Spring Break. Fingers crossed.
